SUPPLEMENTS with the Icarus experiment and the neutron background The Icarus collaboration*, presented by F.Arneodo a aLNGS-INFN, Assergi 67010 Italy A measurement of sB solar v's can be obtained with the 600t Icarus detector adequately shielded against neutrons. In order to reduce the uncertainty about the neutron flux intensity and energy distribution in the underground laboratory, a neutron detector has been realized and installed in the Gran Sasso laboratory.
