โœฆ Synopsis

Analysis of the updated data of 37At atoms production rate at the Homestake station for the period 1970 -90 shows that the solar neutrino flux vary with time in proportion with the flux of solar wind and thus confirms the earlier analysis (Basu, 1982) that there is a significant relationship between solar neutrino and solar particles. By analysing the observed results on the neutrino flux from the Sun for the years 1970-1978, it is shown that the production rate of the neutrinos at the central core of the Sun had been varying with a period almost equal to 26 months for these years. This so-called 'quasi-biennial' periodicity in t

It is suggested that the experimental data on the solar neutrino flux as measured by Davis and his collaborators from 1970 to 1982 vary with the solar activity cycle to a very high level of statistical significance for all the available tests of the hypothesis (e.g., t-test, z2-test, run test, Wilco
