The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners has approved the prerequisites and process to allow installers of solar PV systems to become certified. The process requires installers to have education, experience or training prerequisites, in order to provide a range of paths to become certified. The process has been developed in accordance with certification industry best-practices and is similar to the draft ISO standard on certification.
