Abstract

3β.16α‐Diacetoxy‐5α‐pregnan‐20‐on (I) und sein Δ^5^‐Analogon (II) werden nach Umsetzung mit 2‐Lithium‐5‐methyl‐pyridin über die entsprechenden 20‐Pyridyl‐carbinole IIIb und IVb sowie deren Dehydratisierungsprodukte Va und VI in (22S.25R)‐22.26‐Imino‐5α‐cholestan‐3β.16α‐diol (Xa) übergeführt. Die Konfiguration von Xa an C‐20, C‐22 und C‐25 wird durch Umwandlung in das bekannte (22S.25R)‐5α‐Solanidan‐3‐on (XIII) ermittelt. Abspaltung von Chlorwasserstoff aus dem N‐Chlor‐Derivat von Xa liefert (25R)‐Δ^22(N)^‐22.26‐Imino‐5α‐cholesten‐3β.16α‐diol (XIV).
