โœฆ Synopsis

A supplemental table of NaCl equivalents and freezing point depressions at various concentrations for 30 different medicinal substances in aqueous solution is presented. Also given in the table is the isosmotic concentration of each of the materials which can form a solution. The degree of hemolysis of human erythrocytes was determined in 63 different isosmotic solutions and the data are presented in a table to supplement the previously published values. Freezing point depression graphs for two substances-fluphenazine dihydrochloride and methotrimeprazine hydrochloride-are presented because they showed discontinuities caused by some type of association or aggregation in their solutions.
