โฆ Synopsis
As you may have been seen from a reading of the back cover of this Journal, Applied Cognitive Psychology is the official journal of the Society for Applied Research in Memory and Cognition (SARMAC). SARMAC was founded in 1994 and sponsored the 3rd International Conference on Practical Aspects of Memory held in Maryland, USA. The aim of SARMAC is to promote applied memory and cognitive research and to promote collaboration and communication between basic and applied research.
SARMAC has grown quickly, and the membership now exceeds 200. The founding Chairman was Doug Herrmann, followed by Chuck Thomson and then myself. The Chair Elect is Harry Bahrick.
