More programs from UCC... Earth slopes, electronics and production control are covered by programs now available from UCC. Two programs for analysing the stability of earth slopes on the Univac 1108 are BISHOP and MORGEN. BISttOP can handle multiple sets of groundwater conditions in the same run. MORGEN is used when it is not justifiable to assume a 'slip circle'. It can be used to analyse actual failures for designing remedial works. UCCAP, for analysing analogue and digital circuits, was developed in Dallas and complements the D-LASAR suite. Its application area covers transient, sweep, failure and worstcase analysis for AC and DC circuits. Paul Mace has been appointed Manager, Electronic Products to look after European applications.

The automated production control package UCC SEVEN is now on Version 2.2. This provides VTAM support for defined 3270 terminals, a workload forecast and extended security.
