✦ Synopsis

SAXS investigations of PE, P P and PE-PP blends were pcrformcd. The locations of the long period peaks of the blends and the pure components were compared. I t was shown that mutual mixing of the polymers does not considerably affect their fine structure. The analysis of the SAXS patterns of thermally treated samples confirms the assumption that P E and P P are independent components of the blends.

Rontgenkleinwinkelstreuung yon Polyethylen-Polypropylen-Mischungen

Carbon forms different oxides, of which carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide are among the most widely studied chemical compounds. The most stable oxide with more than two cumulative double bonds, known as carbon suboxide C 3 O 2 (1; Scheme 1), was synthesized for the first time nearly 100 years ago.
