✦ Synopsis
and the Medical Commission on Accident Prevention (MCAP) was organised to communicate research work relevant to the causation and prevention of slipping, tripping and falling accidents. The conference attracted 100 delegates from a wide variety of industries and backgrounds, a considerable achievement for a conference covering such a specialised field. Perhaps this reflects the level of concern felt in industry over accidents and safety in general. At registration and between sessions, delegates were able to examine a comprehensive display of anti-slip products organised as an integral part of the conference.
