The European Investment Bank (EIB) is making 70 million available to Serbia and Montenegro for small and medium sized enterprises and to improve the environment.
25 million is dedicated to water supply and sanitation services in the Serbian cities Novi Sad and NiΕ‘. When completed in 2007, the project will serve 600 000 people.
The EIB says that it will increasingly address the needs of the municipal sector in Serbia, as it is already doing in other Central and Eastern European countries.

The contract includes engineering and construction of the reactor components -vessel, vessel head, steam generators, pumps, pressurizer and control rod drive mechanisms -most of which will be manufactured in AREVA plants in Chalon St Marcel and Jeumont.
