Sirenza Microdevices Inc has released its SXA-3318B GaAs hetero-junction bipolar transistor (HBT) MMIC. Covering from 400MHz to 2,500MHz frequency range, the active bias, dual input/output product is a high linearity amplifier, which provides 47dBm of OIP3 and 28dBm of P1dB at 1.9GHz when combined in a balanced configuration.
Designed for low-cost, high-performance driver stages in wireless infrastructure, the device is offered in a low-cost, ESOP-8 plastic package.
