Let B be a Banach space and L a generator of a Co semigroup on B We consider the problem eW~-2aW~+LW=O , 0<x<l, with boundary conditions given by Pt (Z) and P2 (Z) are polynomials with roots restricted by the spectrum of L. e and a are real parameters with 0 < e < la[-We study the problem for e fixed and for e ~ 0. A convergence rate is also obtained.
