✦ Synopsis
Single-particle excitation spectrum of the Hubbard model in infinite-dimension is calculated under finite magnetic field by using the quantum Monte Carlo and the maximum entropy methods. It is found that (1) the filled part of the up-spin band expands and the empty part shrinks, while the down-spin band shows the opposite change; (2) the Kondo resonance peak is suppressed. These changes of the spectra are similar to those of the Anderson impurity found in terms of the 1/N expansion and cannot be interpreted by the rigid-band picture.
