โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
A single fieldโbased equivalent circuit model for different stripline discontinuities has been constructed and applied to commonly encountered stripline discontinuities, such as: openโcircuit, step, rightโangle bend, and Tโjunction. Also, a lowโpass filter and a branch line coupler are analyzed by using this fieldโbased equivalent circuit. Compared with numerical results, the average errors of S parameters are less than 2%. ยฉ 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this letter, a transverse slit within the signal line in a coplanar waveguide (CPW) structure is modeled as series inductance and parallel capacitance, and the simple formulas for the capacitance and the inductance are introduced. Also, a broadband harmonicโsuppressed filter (12.5โ50
