The elastic constants of single crystal Fe-Ni have been measured up to 12Oo"C, i.e., far beyond the range of magnetic anomalies. Back-extrapolation from high temperature data, using the continuum model, allows to split off the magnetic contributions. Anomalies stop at 7', for the shear constants b
