✦ Synopsis
The cell volume was calculated to be 3374.12(9) A s 3 , and the density was calculated to be 1.565 Mg/m 3 . The single crystal structure was also solved at ؊60°C. The low temperature crystal data were a ؍ 25.3961(3) A s , b ؍ 7.06480(10) A s , and c ؍ 20.22160(10) A s , ؍ 113.431(1)°, Z ؍ 8. The ؊60°C-cell volume was calculated to be 3328.95(6) A s 3 , and the density was calculated to be 1.586 Mg/m 3 .

## Abstract Transparent, crack‐free Na~2~CaGe~6~O~14~ (NCG) single crystals were successfully grown using the Czcchralski technique. The largest crystal had 30 mm in total length and 18 mm in maximal diameter. Best crystal quality was achieved under low temperature gradient arrangement. The crystal
