A simultaneous transmission and reception system is studied in which transmission and reception are always possible without preventing the functions of the receiver near the transmitter, and a method is proposed for eliminating the interference wave as an important technical challenge in this system

β¦ Synopsis
Airborne and shipborne radar, communication, and related radio wave systems with simultaneous transmission and reception system (STR) have limited spatial interval between the transmitting and the receiving antenna. Thus, suppression of self-interference due to the strong transmitted signal is an important problem. We have made an engineering model of STR with an adaptive cancellation technique, and evaluated three kinds of interference: CW, pulse, wideband signals.

## Abstract ## Purpose: To improve the homogeneity of transmit volume coils at high magnetic fields (β₯4 T). Due to radiofrequency (RF) field/tissue interactions at high fields, 4 T to 8 T, the transmit profile from headβsized volume coils shows a distinctive pattern with relatively strong RF magne
