✦ Synopsis

A total of 6071 transition wavenumbers of the 2 , 3 , 5 , and 6 fundamental bands of H 3 13 CF and 1689 frequencies of the rotational transitions in the v 2 ϭ 1, v 3 ϭ 1, v 5 ϭ 1, and v 6 ϭ 1 vibrational states have been fitted simultaneously by taking into account various Coriolis interactions, l-type interactions, and ␣-resonance terms between and within the vibrational states. The standard deviation of the fit using 75 parameters was ϭ 7.63 ϫ 10 Ϫ5 cm Ϫ1 for the infrared data and 0.150 MHz for the rotational data. The possibility of obtaining a quantitative fit of the very precise data of high-resolution Fourier transform and submillimeter-wave spectroscopy for a semirigid symmetric top molecule is discussed.

Using a Fourier transform spectrometer, we have recorded the spectra of ozone in the region of 4600 cm 01 , with a resolution of 0.008 cm 01 . The strongest absorption in this region is due to the n 1 / n 2 / 3n 3 band which is in Coriolis interaction with the n 2 / 4n 3 band. We have been able to a
