✦ Synopsis
A simple method for the determination of phase composition in polyethylene glycol / phosphate aqueous biphasic systems was developed. A single HPLC analysis allows the simultaneous quantification of polymer and salt in the top phase. Phosphate concentration in the bottom phase was also accurately determined but the method was not sensitive enough for PEG quantification in this phase.
