## Abstract A simple and compact sensor for simultaneous measurement of the tilt angle and temperature is presented. The sensor is composed of a fiber taper and a fiber Bragg grating. The tilt angle is measured by monitoring the tilt‐induced loss of the taper. The grating is used for enhancing the
