A versatile sampleholder for simultaneous electric and magnetic measurements on conductors has been tested. The sample is mounted on elastic wires between two capacitor plates. The magnetization in a field gives rise to a displacement, which is detected as a change in capacitance. The sample mount may be optimized for low field as well as high field measurements. Studies on sintered YBaCuO samples are described.
