## Abstract The reductive amination of lowโ€molecularโ€weight saccharides, uronic acids, and amino sugars, followed by a separation of the derivates by means of ionโ€pair chromatography or RPโ€HPLC, offers an interesting alternative to HPAECโ€PAD for the environmental analysis of these compounds. Under
