## Abstract Mesoscale models are essential for the accurate prediction of high‐impact weather, such as severe thunderstorms, heavy rainfall events, mountain weather forecasting, cloudbursts and cyclones. An attempt has been made in the present study to simulate the heavy rainfall event that occurre
