β¦ Synopsis
The e$cacy of simulation of deterministic trafic flow with electrical netzcork parameters is examined. First the car-following model is described and then compared to both lumped and distributed parameter electrical networks. New models are then introduced for use in simulating steady-state and transient-flow conditions. The strengths and weaknesses of the results of a simple PCAP computer run performed on illustrative problem situations are described.
