โฆ Synopsis
A rapid, accurate, and precise gas chromatographic method is described for the determination of lysine in acid hydrolyzates of wheat and rice seed. Chemical procedures are minimum but critical, and derivatization is simple. Precautions for high precision and accuracy are discussed in detail. The method appears applicable to many types of seeds with suitable adaptations to specific needs.
