โฆ Synopsis
A general and simplified method of adjusting either a subregion, or the whole, of an arbitrary, doubly curved surface by the addition of an influence, or adjusting surface, is presented.
Pr.evious papers ~-a have described and demonstrated a general method for smoothly adjusting a designed surface, defined by a two-parameter net and vectorial displacement in 3D space of any chosen intersection of that net.
This papers describes a simplified, though slightly more restricted, theoretical basis of achieving the same end without transformation of the surface plan-projection into the unit circle.
