β¦ Synopsis
The values of log10 P (partition coefficient, in octanollwater) were calculated for about 200 organic molecules of diverse structures and functionalities. The method involves a simple procedure and appears accurate enough for semiquantitative applications. Further, this method of calculating loglo P values was shown to be successful in providing a better quantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR) than the Hansch-type approach in the study of inhibitory activity of substituted phenols on Bacillus Subtilis spore germination.

## Abstract A new method is presented for the calculation of partition coefficients of solutes in water lipid systems. Log __P__ values are calculated based on the charge densities of the atoms as determined by quantum mechanical methods. In this article, the results have been obtained from charge
## Abstract A simple method was developed to optimize the solvent ratio of the twoβphase solvent system used in the highβspeed counterβcurrent chromatography (HSCCC) separation. Some mathematic equations, such as the exponential and the power equations, were established to describe the relationship
This paper deals with the construction of discrete numerical solutions of mixed problems for the telegraph equation. After discretization, the two-variables partial difference mixed problem is solved by means of a discrete eigenfunctions method that mimics the advantages of the continuous eigenfunct
