Abstract
We show that gaugeβsinglet real scalars added to the Standard Model can both soften the little hierarchy problem and offer a candidate for Dark Matter. Masses of the scalars are in the 1β3 TeV range, depending on the Higgs boson mass and the number of singlets present. If the scalars couple to the Majorana mass term for rightβhanded neutrinos then one neutrino must be massless. The mixing angles are consistent with the triβbimaximal mixing.
