✦ Synopsis
A simple, and very inexpensive, freeze plunge device is illustrated which has been used effectively on a variety of biological tissues. The design criteria are presented in sufficient detail so that similar units can be manufactured in one's own shop, the only critical tools being a good drill press and drills, a jig saw or band saw, and a propane torch for soldering.
