✦ Synopsis

A.bstract--A one-dlmensional shock-reflection test problem in the case of ,i,d~, cylindrical or spherical symmetry is discussed for multi-component flows. The differential eqtmtions for --similarity solution are derived and then solved numerically in conjunction with the l~midne-Hugoniot shock relations.

## Abstract Conservative schemes usually produce non‐physical oscillations in multi‐component flow solutions. Many methods were proposed to avoid these oscillations. Some of these correction schemes could fix these oscillations in the pressure profile at discontinuities, but the density profile sti

This paper is concerned with existence, uniqueness and behaviour of the solutions of the autonomous third-order non-linear di erential equation f +(m+2)ff -( 2m+1)f 2 = 0 on R + with the boundary conditions f(0) = -, f (∞) = 0 and f (0) = -1. This problem arises when looking for similarity solutions
