We have studied the relationship between antioxidant and anticancer properties of selenium (Se) in multistage hepatocarcinogenesis induced by N-nitrosodiethylamine (DEN). In this study we have observed an increased level of lipid peroxide (LPO) products and decreased antioxidant enzyme activities (s
