## Abstract Metallodendrimers built around a [Ru(dpp)~3~]^2+^‐type core (dpp = 4,7‐diphenyl‐1,10‐phenanthroline) were prepared containing peripheral phenyl moieties. The convergent synthesis of the ligands was accomplished by coupling dendritic branches with a focal amino function to the chelating
