## Abstract **Summary:** UV curable acrylate formulations with a high content of fumed, nano‐sized silica were prepared to improve their application for abrasion and scratch resistant top coats. Grafting of trialkoxysilanes onto the surface of nanoparticles facilitated their embedding in the formul
