Minimized strain energies: cis-2j 19.22 kcal/mol, trans-2j 18.14 kcal/mol. In this larger-scale experiment, a significant amount of cis -2i suffered protiodesilylation to cis-2j (H-C(2) at 4.25 ppm (&I) which could not be separated from trans-2j.
