An analysis has been made of the radiometric measurements of apparent temperature carried out by the satellite HCMM (Heat Capacity Mapping Mission) over the agricultural area of Valencia. The comparison of measurements of apparent temperature with those carried out in situ at three different levels (20 cm below ground, at ground level and in the air (at a height of 150 cm) gives a satisfactory adjustment. By applying these adjustments to digital images, the temperature field near the ground can be obtained to within 1 K accuracy.
