β¦ Synopsis
Powerful Partnerships
I believe that when we collaborate, the light we shine together is brighter than any we might achieve on our own. In May of 2005, the Leader to Leader Institute will again partner with The Conference Board and the U.S. Army in the Investment in America Forum, which brings together ten CEOs from corporations with ten social sector CEO leaders and ten Generals from the U.S. Army. (We call this our "10-10-10" leadership event for short.) In 2002, when we held our first Investment in America Forum, Dr. Warren Bennis, General Eric Shinseki, Dick Cavanagh, president of the Conference Board, and I led our adventure in 10-10-10 leadership. When it was over, those 30 leaders had become one of the most cohesive, decisive leadership groups I've ever seen. I realized that, for results, it was the most powerful conference I've experienced in my whole career.
