Specialist covers frequently need a hidden gasket. One way to achieve this is by mounting it in a channel adjacent to the panel edge. EMKA has recently extended its range of this type of moulded gasket.
The new channel mounting gaskets have been developed in EPDM, Neoprene, perbunan or buna to fit channels from 4 mm to 10 mm wide, with various methods of cushioning the seal. Up to three voids maintain even compression and facilitate fitting with profile heights up to 28.5 mm.
The sections simplify the process of achieving sealing to normal IP levels of protection and many are UL registered.
