β¦ Synopsis
This number is the second of two dedicated to the role of culture in the globalisation of human-computer systems. Four papers and an editorial introduction also appeared in Volume 9 Number 3 of Interacting with Computers, January 1998. The introduction to the previous issue addressed l the special issue theme and rationale, l topics of papers accepted; l contributions of the review panel; l foundation publications in intercultural HCI, and l several other resources that readers might consult when conducting further research.
In order to promote continuity between the two numbers of this special issue, the preview of papers offered in the previous number is repeated here. The remainder of this introduction, however, is devoted to describing research and resources in intercultural HCI that were not noted in Volume 9 Number 3.
