โœฆ Synopsis

SANS from micellar solutions of pure cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) with and without addition of NaSal has been studied. It is found that micelles are ellipsoidal (C = A # B) and the B/A ratio depends on concentrations of CTAB and NaSal and on the temperature of the solution. The B/A values over a range of concentration and temperature are obtained. * The concentration of NaSal given in fig. 2 of ref. [3] is 0.02M and not 0.025 M. Also there was small error in calculation of value of B/A for pure 0.1 M CTAB solution.
