β¦ Synopsis
It is shown here that NQR pulses can be treated in a consistent way leading to expressions based upon SU( 2) algebra. The use of various bases (fictitious spin l/2, spherical tensors) is not necessary. One consequence is that shaped pulses designed for NMR can be used for NQR.
