Photoelectron asymmetry parameters (8) have been measured for photoionization from the Cs+ 4d subshells in the molecular caesium halides using photons in the energy range 50-l 20 eV. A resonance is observed in the p spectrum close to threshold and is assigned to a centrifugal barrier shape resonance.
