PROBLEM

Recently, much interest has been generated in the social structure of the mental hospital and the roles associated with the various positions within that structure. Of particular interest to many has been the role of the patient. This study investigated 'Formerly Staff Psychologist, Cleveland State Hospital. "'Better" and "most disturbed" were evaluative words used by the staffs of the two cottages in describing the units.
