The female sex pheromone (3E,5Z)-3,5-dodecadienyl acetate of Phtheochroa cranaodes was regio-and stereo-selectively synthesized using electrophilic trimethylchlorostannane-induced rearrangement of lithium 1-octynylborate as the main process
