✦ Synopsis

Thief, mercenary, calculating opportunist. Volser leads an advanterous life. He doesn't care about the future. He doesn't consider the gods and their laws. Religion and myth are to keep the mobs restrained, to earn money on people’s naΓ―vety. Yet, fate can be perverse. Volser doesn't know that in one monent his life will take a sharp turn, his orderly world will collapse. Volser wakes up in the middle of a desert, in the company of Tenilai, a strange, beautiful woman. He doesn't remember anything from the night before. He has risked his life to chase a myth about the water of life and now he is angry that his greed and pursuit of wealth clouded his mind. He follows Tenilai to the Thousand Swords Cave and discovers that Tenilai is not the person she seemed to be. That he has broken the gods’ laws and now must bear the consequences of his actions.
