Serrated yielding behaviour of a type AISI 316 stainless steel is investigated in the temperature range 300-923 K. Detailed observations have been made on the effect of prior ageing in the temperature range (823-1323 K) for different periods of time on the serrated yielding behaviour at 923 K. Two t
