✦ Synopsis


CUNY) is a multi-unit institution, consisting of ten senior (or four-year) collegeS, seven community (or two-year) colleges, a graduate school and a school of medicine.

Each of the units maintains its own library. The chief librarians meet monthly; at their requests, groups of CUNY librarians meet to discuss implementation of new procedures, especially those involving cooperation among the libraries. For the past six years, CUNY serials librarians have been meeting as such a group.
