By
the Bayesian formula, a posteriori probabilities of medical diagnoses are calculated from their a priori probabilities and from the conditional probabilities of test results. This paper describes a short program of the Bayesian formula for a pocket calculator which considers up to 21 differential diagnoses and an unlimited number of tests.
