## Abstract Summary: The __Thyroid transcription factor‐1 (TTF‐1)__ gene belongs to the __Nkx‐2.1__ subfamily and encodes a transcription factor containing an NK‐2‐type homeodomain. In our study, we isolated and characterized cDNA clones for the __TTF‐1/Nkx‐2.1__ orthologue __(LjTTF‐1)__ from the a
