These very stable and unreactive new compounds are crystalline, colorless, and sublime without decomposition in a Hg-vacuum [(Z) at 140 OC; (3) at 200 OC; (4) at -200 " C ] ; they are only sparingly soluble in pentane, benzene, or carbon tetrachloride and moderately soluble in xylene (the solubility decreases with increasing molecular weight).
