✦ Synopsis

The feasibility of separation of dichloroethane and trichloroethylene mixtures using a membrane pervaporation process was studied experimentally. A sorption experiment was initially carried out to evaluate the available polymeric materials/membranes.

Pervaporation trials were then conducted on these polymer materials/membranes and the results were studied in detail.
